Excluding the Green Party from the leaders' debates during general elections is an affront to democracy in Ontario. Voters deserve to hear from all party leaders so they can make an informed decision, and participate honestly in Ontario elections
I hereby urge you to bring Ontario into the 21st Century by allowing Mike Schreiner, leader of the Green Party of Ontario, to participate in the 2014 Ontario televised leaders debates.
In the 2007 general election, The Green Party of Ontario received 354,897 votes, 6 times that of all the minor parties combined.
Provincial Green Party Leaders have been included in debates in British Columbia, Manitoba, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
Voters have a right to hear where ALL the major parties stand on the issues. We have a shared future, we should have the right to make an informed decision.
A critical mass supports Green Party policies, and an even larger share of the voting population believes the Green Party should have a voice at the table.
Support for the Green Party of Ontario is growing across Ontario. Hundreds of thousands of Ontarians plan to vote Green this election, just like YOU
