I am a hard working and proud Canadian living in Ontario. I like that I live in a mostly democratic society. Sure it needs some tweaks and improvements and that is what we would like to work towards. I am writing to share my opinion that I would like to see Mike Schreiner of the Green Party included in the debate. They are an up and coming party and I think all Ontarians should be able to hear their views for our future. They are not some backwater party but exist in other places in the world and, in my opinion, deserve to be heard. They are making strong hearway at the Federal level and deserve a place in the debate.

The suggestion of excluding the Green Party from the leaders' debates during general elections is an affront to democracy in Ontario.

I hereby urge you to take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that the Leader of the Green Party, Mike Schreiner, is included in the televised leaders' debates.

In the 2007 general election, The Green Party of Ontario received 354,897 votes, 6 times that of all the minor parties combined.

Provincial Green Party Leaders have been included in debates in British Columbia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
Future

Support for the Green Party of Ontario is growing across the province. Hundreds of thousands of Ontarians plan to vote Green this election.
Rights

Voters have a right to hear where ALL the major parties stand on the issues. We have a shared future, we should have the right to make an informed decision.
Fairness

A critical mass supports Green Party policies, and an even larger share of the voting population believes the Green Party should have a voice at the table.
